CDP1 shuts down

As wells were drilled from DP2 towards the reservoir on the UK side, beneath CDP1, wells from the latter installation were gradually plugged and abandoned. CDP1 was finally shut down on 8 November 1990 after 13 years of producing gas for the British market. When the platforms on Frigg are removed, only the concrete GBS for CDP1 will remain.
