Company name changes
Total Marine Norsk AS changed its name to Total Norge AS (TN) on 2 January 1991 in order to provide a clear and better defined external identity.
Total acquired Unocoal Norge A/S, which gave it 18 per cent of Veslefrikk and 25 per cent of Huldra. Elf Aquitaine Norge A/S was renamed Elf Petroleum Norge AS in 1992, and Fina Exploration Norway u.a.s became Fina Exploration Norway Incorporated (Feni) on 18 February 1993.
