Flammetårnet FP
Flammetårnet ble utformet av Elf og verftet CFEM (Compagnie Francaise d'Enterprises Metalliques) i fellesskap.
Det ble bygget av CFEM i Rouen og installert i oktober 1975. Det ble festet til et fundament på havbunnen med universalledd som gjorde det mulig for tårnet å bevege seg med strøm og bølger. Flammetårnet ble forbundet med TP1 med en rørledning og kontrollkabel og ble benyttet til å brenne av gass ved oppstartsoperasjoner i tillegg til å fungere som en sikkerhetsventil i tilfelle overtrykk i produksjonssystemet på Friggfeltet. Flammetårnet ble stengt ned først på 1990-tallet og etter hvert fjernet. Nedstengningen skjedde i forbindelse med at gassbehandling på Frigg TP1 ble innstilt.
